Portable Capacity for Crew, Gear & Adventure
At 12 feet 6 inches long, the T380LX provides generous deck space for passengers, fishing equipment, dive gear, camping equipment, or tender use. Its catamaran-style hull, 5-foot-5-inch beam, raised air deck, and large-diameter tubes create a wide, stable platform while preserving the portability that makes Takacat boats easy to transport and store.
The T380LX uses four independent tube chambers plus one floor chamber for added redundancy. A detachable keel fin is included, allowing the removable air-deck floor to also be used as a stand-up paddleboard.
Outboard Compatibility
This 2021 boat uses Takacat's previous-generation round stainless-steel tube transom. For this model, the recommended outboard range is 6–15 HP, with a listed maximum of 20 HP.
For quiet, lightweight electric propulsion, we recommend the short-shaft Torqeedo Travel (3HP). For gas outboards of 10 HP or more, a properly matched Permatrim Hydrofoil Plate can help address ventilation or cavitation issues commonly encountered on lightweight catamaran-style boats.
