A Stable, Portable Inflatable Catamaran
The T340LX is one of Takacat's most popular portable boat models. Its 5-foot-5-inch beam, 19-inch-diameter tubes, raised air deck, and catamaran-style hull create a wide, stable platform for fishing, diving, cruising, and general recreation.
At 11 feet 2 inches long, the T340LX offers useful deck space without giving up the portability that makes Takacat boats easy to transport and store. The extended waterline helps the boat plane quickly and remain level while underway, while the large flat deck provides an open working area for passengers and gear.
A detachable keel fin is included, allowing the removable air-deck floor to also be used as a stand-up paddleboard.
Outboard Compatibility
The recommended outboard range for the T340LX is 2.5–10 HP, with a listed maximum of 15 HP.
For quiet, lightweight electric propulsion, we recommend the short-shaft Torqeedo Travel (3HP). For gas outboards of 10 HP or more, a properly matched Permatrim Hydrofoil Plate can help address ventilation or cavitation issues commonly encountered on lightweight catamaran-style boats.
