The Cruise 6.0 R is a 48-Volt, 9.9 horsepower-equivalent outboard perfect for boats up to 6 tons. Cruise motors are the electric outboard motor of choice for motorboats, dinghies and commercial users. The Cruise 6.0 R ships with Torqeedo’s advanced communication system, TorqLink, which allows faster and more accurate data sharing between system components like the battery and throttle.
The Cruise 6.0R Bundle is comprised of a 6 HP equivalent fully electric drive system along with required accessories; battery (or bateries), charger, throttle, propeller and anodes.
All Cruise systems have a built-in GPS with on-board computer and display with speed and input power, state of charge and remaining range, with a compact, low-drag, and lightweight pylon with advanced helical gear design.
Yes, we know. The Torqeedo Cruise Series bundles are more expensive than a gas-powered outboard of the same horsepower. That being said, being on plane with a whisper silent, environmentally friendly setup is something special and very unique. It's our objective to introduce innovation that can help protect our Great Lakes and waterways here in Michigan and across all of North America. The Torqeedo Cruise Series motors do just that!

- For Dual Top Mounting Throttle option, an additional outboard drive, battery and charger are included in the package.
- Warranty: 2 years for all non-commercial use
Additional Options and Considerations
- The High-Speed propeller B 12.5 x 17 HSP (1987-00) is desined to break to protect the motor. It is a good practice to have an extra prop on hand along with the proper tools to change the prop while you are out on the water.
- Some people prefer a Thrust Propeller B 12 X 13 THR (1986-00)
- Keep and extra aluminum anode or two in stock (1905-00). In general, sacrificial anodes should be inspected at least once a year and replaced when they have coroded down to 50% of their original size and weight. For boats that are used in heavily corrosive water, anodes may need to be replaced more frequently.
- The Standard Charger for Power 48-5000 (2213-00) is not compatable with charge while running mode which is used by sailboats that are being powered by the wind.
